What experience do I need to become a Poké Papa franchise owner?
Restaurant management and operational experience is strongly preferred. Those already in the food industry, as well as business professionals with a commitment and enthusiasm for our systems are good candidates. You must possess excellent social skills and be a problem solver and expect to work full time in the business. In exchange for your commitment to the Poké Papa brand, we’ll provide you the tools and support you need to operate an efficient poke restaurant franchise.
What is provided as part of the Poké Papa franchise program?
You will attend a pre-opening training program at our flagship store. As you launch your local poke restaurant franchise business, a Poké Papa representative will be on-site the day prior to the opening, the opening day and the day following the opening. You will also have access to our proprietary confidential Operations Manual which will provide you guidance on our brand standards. Our training programs are designed to be among the best in the business and to leave you feeling confident to launch and operate your restaurant.
How much will the Poké Papa franchise program investment cost me?
Is financing available?
No. We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?
We charge a royalty fee equal to 6% of weekly revenues. There may also be a technology fee of up to $200 per month. Additional information on ongoing fees may be found in Item 6 of the FDD and in the Franchise Agreement.
Are there any advertising fees?
Poké Papa franchise owners will be required to spend 1% of revenues on local marketing efforts. If and when established, they may also be required to contribute a percentage of revenues into the system marketing fund. Collected funds would be used to develop creative materials and campaign strategies for the Poké Papa brand, which you can then leverage in your local protected territory.
What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years.
